Build a Gaming PC

Building a PC is adult LEGO. The hard part is not overpaying.

The biggest mistake is overspending on the GPU. You do not need a 5090. A 4070 plays everything at 1440p. The difference between high and ultra is invisible in motion.

Second mistake is overspending on the CPU. Games care about single core speed, not cores. A mid range Ryzen 5 is enough.

RAM is cheap. Get 32 GB of DDR5. Skip RGB. It does not make you faster.

Storage is cheap. Get a 1 TB NVMe SSD.

Do not cheap out on the power supply. A bad PSU can destroy your system.

Best time to buy? When new products launch. Last gen prices drop.
