The worst is battle passes. They create FOMO. You pay money, then play on a schedule to get what you paid for. Predatory.

Microtransactions in full price games. You paid seventy dollars. You should not pay more to unlock a character.

Seasons. Every game has them now. Miss a season, miss the story. Games should not expire.

Early access that never ends. Some games stay in early access for years. They take money and never deliver.

Remakes everywhere. Not all are bad. But the industry is obsessed with re releasing instead of making new things.

The good news? Players are pushing back. Games with these practices are failing. The market is correcting.
