Future of VR Gaming

VR has been the future of gaming for ten years. It might finally be here.

Hardware got better. The Meta Quest 3 is wireless, affordable, and good. The PSVR2 is impressive but tethered. Apple Vision Pro is amazing and too expensive.

Games got better. Half Life Alyx is the killer app VR needed. Beat Saber is a phenomenon. Resident Evil in VR is terrifying in the best way.

Barriers remain. Motion sickness hits some people. Headsets are bulky. Good hardware costs money.

But each generation improves. The Quest 3 is much better than the Quest 2. The next one will be better still.

VR will not replace traditional gaming. It will be another way to play. Like mobile did not kill consoles.
